Blank downloads folder! Please help!

In the past, when I downloaded a file, a little downloads page popped up listing things that I downloaded etc. Now, no matter what I download, its always blank. 🙁

You’re probably in Private Browsing Mode, which doesn’t save Download History.
Go to Safari in the menu bar and see.

checked, im not on private browsing for both firefox and safari =/

Your preferences should look like this then

Specifically the “Save Downloaded Files to... Downloads”

And “Remove Download List Items... Manually"
