Blanked out songs are annoying

the Aeroplane Flies High from The Smashing Pumpkins has songs you can't play on that album but they're intact on Rarities and B sides. Anyone else run into this issue?
 
I'm in the UK and have seen lots of songs on albums greyed out, yet the same track on a different album is available,
