I bought a new mac and I've started having problems with the colour scheme. Instead of white, my apps are all grey in colour. This problem seemed to fix itself whenever I changed the screen saver to 'Drift'. Now that I've updated to the newest IOS, this doesn't work anymore. When I have apps overlapping each other, the white colour appears on the border like you can see in the picture. Can someone offer any suggestions on how to fix this problem please.

I've never seen this before so I'm not entirely sure. Could it be a colour profile gone haywire? If you go into System Preferences app, then click 'Displays'. Then 'Display Settings'. You should be able to select a different colour profile from there and see if that helps perhaps.

If not then I recommend contacting Apple directly or waiting to see if anyone else has any better suggestions.

Hello,

thanks. Yes I've tried all of that. It was odd. At times it would go grey, but if I have the System Preferences Display > Screensaver tab open with it on the "Drift" option, the colour fixed itself. I will wait a bit and contact Apple. I'm not living in a place with a dedicated Apple service center, so fixing it is going to be tricky.
