Bleu screen after start up on my ibook 366

Hi there,
when i start up my ibook 366 after the grey loading screen the screen then turns blue,the cursor is still onscreen but the option to login to a user profile is no longer there,
Does anybody have an idea what might be causing this?😕

Try starting up from your system disks. Do you get any further? 🙂

Hmm... Yeh, try booting off the discs and reinstalling the OS.

Maybe don't do a reinstall just yet. There are a couple of things we can try and should check first. 🙂
