    My situation:
    • I've got a 2008 unibody macbook with a broken screen (perfect working order, works fine hooked up to an external display). It has a 1TB internal HDD.
    • I've got a new rMBP on the way, with a 128GB ssd.
    • I want to set up my blind macbook as a media library, which houses all of my music, photos, videos and documents. I want to be able to access these quickly and seemlessly over my home wireless network, from my rMBP via iPhoto, iTunes etc - without having to store anything on the rMBP's SSD.
    • I also want to be able to have my Sonos system's library located on the blind macbook.
    • My blind macbook has all of my media on it already, running Mountain Lion.
What is the best way to set this up? Cheers.
