Colors are impossible to judge without being there. Maybe a reference image would help, but the creator would have to make sure that it looks like it did in reallife. And also the pictures will look different on differend screens.

I could almost always tell which ones were from the S7, mostly because i used one for a few months.
Colors are always nice and popping, but the problem is: they are not realistic. They actually look better than in real life. Which is either a good or a bad thing, i guess everyone has to choose for themself.

I mostly picked the LG Phone, but i had all of them winning in some of the pictures.

I've moved from the Galaxy S7 to the iPhone 7 and find the camera of the iPhone quite disappointing.

I actually voted the LG for many shots, the iPhone won out in the tree and portrait shots, the coin shot was abysmal for the iPhone.

Get ready for the "Galaxy is way over saturated and not true to life."

Point is majority of consumers prefer that. I guess Samsung should apologize for giving the consumers what they want. Samsung should be like Apple and have courage to tell the consumers what they want is wrong.

Realistic? Look around you, every image you see today is edited and enhanced to death. Modern photography isn't about realism, it's about creating appealing images and the only thing that matters is if you like them or not.

I chose the iPhone on a couple - I've compared the i7 to the s7 and the iPhone is better overall, crisper edges without looking artificially sharpened and more natural accurate colour, s7 tends to produce an almost neon effect, its easier to tell the better image quality with 100% crops to portions of the same subject

I picked like 90% LG V20 shots, some were from the Galaxy S7, some were from the iPhone 7. I must really say that I did not expect this at all.

Seems like marketing really delivers, they make you all believe that Galaxy S7 and iPhone 7 are actually the best out there, while LG V20 seems to be the best and clearly most natural camera of this comparison by far.

I think I chose the iPhone in 2 shots. A majority went to the S7, the LG had a sprinkling and I even picked the Nokia in a couple of shots.

I'm really impresset with the S7 camera!

Holy crap I kept picking the S7 as the best pic. Wow, I'm actually impressed. Slightly wish I had a Galaxy. But. I prefer the iOS ecosystem.

Most of my picks were the iPhone 7, followed closely by the S7. I chose the others in a couple of images as well. Overall the iPhone produced the better balanced images imo, but on some of them the S7 seemed indeed better.

which is the part you left out of my quote:

Uh, what?

It was a pretty even toss-up for me. Some where obviously over-saturated, others were grainy, some were over/under-exposed, but most were acceptable.

I really think it comes down to taste.

I kept picking the LG, lol. Interesting to see where instinct would take me without knowing what phone it was.

Sigh. I picked the S7 on almost all of them :eek:

iPhone 7 camera is still phenomenal though, and after all it's a smartphone, NOT just a camera. The iPhone does smartphone things 10x better than anything Android - particularly Samsung. I don't care if the Samsung takes slightly better pictures.

I enjoy the iPhone's portrait and natural colors more, just wish it had S7's low light features and it would be perfect.
