Hello,
I wanted to share my experience with my new Macbook Air M3—it's quite a powerhouse! It delivers a smooth and instant computing experience overall. However, I've noticed a slight hiccup when using Blink-based browsers like Chrome or Brave. Unlike Safari, which glides through webpage scrolling on the Magic Trackpad without a hitch, these browsers tend to exhibit noticeable lag and dropped frames, especially on complex websites such as the NYT or the Wall Street Journal.
I haven't added any extensions, and both browsers are fresh installations with hardware acceleration enabled. Despite this, the issue persists.
Do you happen to know of any settings or hidden features that might help improve this behavior? Or is it simply the case that Blink-based browsers don't offer the same fluid scrolling experience as Safari?
Thanks for any insights you can provide.
Best regards, learjet
