Hello there!

I have fairly responsible habits with my iPhone 12 Pro but last night, after it dropped below 20%, i plugged it in in order to charge and noticed that the lightning bolt symbol inside the battery (while red) was blinking/flashing; not like disappearing and reappearing but actually fading in and out. This lasted until it turned green (over 20%) but to be fair, it may have stopped when I ”tightened” the wall charger to the wall plug... when the symbol was flashing it was actually charging... no notification, no error, everything ok.

So, what’s the meaning of this symbol flashing? It’s been always like that when charging below 20% and haven’t noticed or is it something else?

Thx in advance.

Usually a bad cable or the cable or adapter is not plugged in properly/completely. Could be dirt in the charging port on the phone.

ALL THE TIME. even with new (generic)charging cable still will do it. but if i buy the apple cable no problems till it gets old or frays....
