They just said iOS and Android so far. After playing the game I don't think it'll get an iPhone release, only iPad.

They previously stated it would be released for iPad, and at Blizzcon 2013 announced it was in development for the iphone and for Android devices as well.

That's a huge jump between the minimum system requirements and the recommended system requirements.

A Core i3 with the Radeon 5670 is at least a 2010 iMac. Then again, we are in 2014....

The one game I'm waiting for is Marvel Heroes. The Mac beta is currently up in-house and they'll soon be doing a public beta. It currently has fairly low system requirements on the Windows side which should translate to fairly low system requirements for the Mac, at least comparable to Hearthstone but a much larger game.

Plays fine on my 2008 iMac w/ Radeon HD 2600 Pro

It's a pretty great game! I played this quite a lot during the beta. Lots of depth and polish. Will certainly be a hit when it comes to iPad.

Only gave up because it got a bit frustrating with all the cheesy rush tactics that people pull in higher level ladder play - decks stacked with only low end cards, which is hard to beat if you have a more balanced deck. Maybe they've improved the play balance since then, though.

For anyone wondering what are the real minimum requirements for the game - I have been successfully playing it on late 2008 13" MacBook with Core2Duo 2GHz and 9400M. Had to set the graphics to the lowest setting, but the game run smoothly. I don't think it would run on anything lower, though (as far as graphics are concerned).

I'd say it is 50/50 chance you get a fair match. I just started playing yesterday and won 10 lost 10. Whenever I lost it was because I got absolutely obliterated by higher tier cards seemed like a lvl 1 vs a lvl 20. I was only playing to test out the game though, card games are not my thing even though I am pretty good at them. I won a Hearthsteed mount but I don't play WoW anymore (2004-2008) either hahaha
