After getting my hex core last week, I opted to install the OS on an SSD. I don't have many Applications -- only about 9GB worth -- but About this Mac registers as only 73 GB free out of 119.02 GB.

It says I have 3.43 GB of Audio and 32.88 GB of "Other". I check the Library, Aplications, System and Users folders on the SSD but can't for the life of me track down where and what is taking up so much space.

Is this normal? Should I try another fresh OS install?

Thanks! It turns out that I had very large sleep image. I disabled with with a Terminal command and all is well.

Omnidisksweeper is a very nice app.
