Blobs are currently Useless,,,, but you should back them up, Better safe than sorry. They may (or may not) be need in the future.

Use TinyUmrella. But at this time they are not reuseable on A5 devices. To reuse them on A5 devices on iOS 5 and higher, a bootrom exploit is needed. But in the event a bootrom exploit it found, it's good to have your blobs.

Cydia does it for you anyways

Hope some day we will get to use them if needed.

how do we retrieve them from cydia? When ever I use tiny umbrella int never saves them, or they just disappear

I think u can only point iTunes to Cydia using tiny umbrella settings.

In TU advanced tab check request shsh from cydia, connect phone and press save shsh
