I'm trying to clone Bootcamp from a Macbook 12 2015 to an external SSD. Apparently the block size of the Macbook is 4096 and the SSD is 512, so it isn't compatible and I'm guessing it's a hardware thing.

Are there any 4096 sata SSDs out there? Is there a workaround? Is it a USB controller issue?

Thanx.

What are you trying to accomplish?
Block size aside, I've never heard of anyone successfully cloning a Bootcamp partition onto an external drive and still having it be bootable by the Mac.
Winclone can backup a Bootcamp partition but only for the purpose of changing its size or relocating it to a new internal drive.
If you want to boot the Mac off of an external Windows drive I'm pretty sure you'll have to do a fresh install.
