Blocking someone in Adium?

Morning Guys and Gals.

Is there a way of permanantly blocking someone with a .mac account in adium?

I have this kid that wont stop IM'ing me, Ive blocked him but he is still able to message me, its rather annoying.

Any way of doing this?

I don't think blocking works in Adium. You'll have to close Adium, get the actual AIM client and block him in that, then restart Adium. Adium will respect the block list, but it was a known bug up until at the last time I checked that it didn't actually block anyone.

Someone else might know if iChat AV has blocking features--but I've never used it.
