Blog app similar to TUAW

I want to create a blog app that will have the newest articles come up in a table view and when you click them it will open up the full story in a detail view with options like mail and more. I've found tutorials almost on this for things like them in a table view but then it gets opened in safari, and others that are more advanced but horribly outdated with phones running 2.x software.
