Anyone else try to use blogger.com on their iPad? It doesn't work for me, as when you try to click on the text box when writing a new blog post, it wont let you. Therefore its impossible to actually write your new blog post.

I also haven't found any ipad apps that will let you post to blogger either.

This is very disappointing since I really wanted to blog using my iPad, and now I can't!

get blog press. Works on iPhone and optimized for ipad. I've been blogging to blogger from this app for about 6 months and it works fantastic real easy to use. Now for iPhone it works better bc I can upload pics and video right off my phone. Easy work around is to email myself so no big deal.

I also have had problems with blogger.com on my iPad. What I've ended up doing for posts is using the email option (which can be set up through our dashboard page).

As for the suggestion to use the html page, it does work, but can be a bit clunky.

That's the problem right now. You're either stuck using the HTML mode for editing blogger posts or using Blogpress. Either way, you've going to struggle to do anything beyond basic text posts. Any kind of formatting means dropping into raw HTML, which is feasible, but a pain and hardly in tune with the smooth interface of the device.

I long for someone to produce a decent blogging app.

I've used MacJournal and BlogPress for ages. Both work just fine. BlogPress was available for the iPhone in the stone age so no need to moan for not looking around well enough.

I've tried blogpress. Doesn't allow image links to be posted. MacJournal seems to do the same thing.

Yes it does.

I post to my blog every other day from my ipad using BlogPress and have posted multiple photos each time.

Edit: found out how to do it!

Do you upload the photos directly from the app or link them from a site?

My photos are usually uploaded to my flickr account first then I choose which ones I would use for the blog post.

I barely started blogging, mostly as a portfolio so I'm trying to figure out what the best workflow.

Thanks!

I load them straight from my iPad into BlogPress. There is no need for flickr or photo bucket. Just do it straight from your saved photos.
With BlogPress you can load several photos wherever you want them. So you can type a bunch, load a photo, type a bunch, insert a photo, and on and on. HTH

Runnergirl, please share exactly how you upload directly from ur iPad to blogpress! I cannot find how to do it! It's very frustrating, and I do not use picasa.

There doesn't seem to be a button for adding photos into my posts! Does yours?

Thanks! Btw, I use blogger for blogpress.

iPad doesn't work with Blogger.com -- that's a real shame

It's all about the money here. Apple wants it from us.

I bought the iPad and it really has serious limitations. You can do everything in the limited world of Apple, but they intentionally block you from non-Apple sites ... like Blooger.com which is one of the most indexed blogging sites on the internet ...

Blogger does not allow Safari to edit blogger.com entries. And iPad does not allow you to download any serious browsers like Google Chrome ... they restrict you to Safari ... and Safari clones that they sell and do little more than Safari already does ...

It's about the money not the customer

pathetic

Yes, I reported the edit problem many times. Nothing changed. When the blogpost is long or more than three pictures are placed (using the Blogger app ), editing in any browser on the ipad is not possible, because the screen does not scroll. In html mode, it is difficult to enlarge or shrink photos. Also, it is hard to find text that needs changes.
Also the location and labels are jumping.
I made some new Pages with my blog (using the pc). It is impossible to edit pages in the Blogger app or in a browser on the ipad.
