I have been considering getting one of these sattelite communicator devices for emergency use when mountain biking or photographing in areas with no phone signal - having this technology embedded in my iPhone would be a great solution for me!
Reading things like this makes me wonder how our ancestors ever survived for millions of years until now without satellite emergency phones....

likely they were tapped in to an entirely different network, one that people today can't hear anymore due to the noise of their devices.

I wondered why Apple phones couldn't do this before. Seems like an easy feature since the technology has been around for forever.

I guess this would be good, but we wouldn't be needing this if there was more coverage.. We only do this, because the more coverage is slow to ramp-up... Stick satellites in space, or find a new use for them, as its better then just offering more coverage in outside areas. Not possible technically?

Well, I suppose we will all find out for sure in a few weeks, if the rumors of a September launch are accurate.

If Musk didn't buy this satellite network, we could have the service right away. They have a network working at very low power used for sensors in the agricultural world. Small sensors relying on solar power to send data. But i doubt he bought it to help Apple offer the service.

I thought in those times the life expectancy was 30 years old.

"Over the past 160 years, life expectancy (from birth) in the United States has risen from 39.4 years in 1860, to 78.9 years in 2020."

History is written by the winners. Your history is even more fake than the news on TV, it's all made up.

The people who built the pyramids lived > 900 years. All cells in the body regenerate, only high toxicity as we experience today makes humans weak and live very short lives, and they are very sick and "age" really fast. It's not aging, it's poisoning. All cells in the body are brand new every 6 months, how do we age? It's not the cells, it's the rest, the toxins.

Today with modern technology we can't build pyramids, it's impossible, nor could we align them precisely to the stars the way they are. Therefore the folks back then were quite obviously more advanced than we are today, and those who say different are lying.

it’s going to happen and I bet Elon will be on it, Going to see where I can invest for this to happen

Apple is working on satellite capabilities for the iPhone that will allow..

Apple has considered launching its own satellites, but the planned emergency features will rely on existing networks.

Now with the T-Mobile and Starlink announcement this all makes sense!
