It never dawn on me that electronic wipes can trigger the sensors, the method in which I clean my 4S. Can someone tell me how I go about verifying if the sensors were triggered? Thanks.

Look down the headphone jack is the easiest. Is it white or red?

The Genius at my local Apple Store used a brush. Looked kind of like a toothbrush, but with slightly longer bristles. Looked brand spanking new.:D

use a soft bristled toothbrush (dry obviously).

The bristles might cause static electricity and the small amount of voltage could fry your phone. This should never be done. Live with the dust. It actually insulates the port and keeps it warm..........

So if I get dust in...um...keeps it warm...never mind.

:D I have a 486DX-66 that has been running non-stop(minus power outages) since 1998 in our office to prove it. Never opened. I think blowing out the dust would kill it dead now.
