I have a mid-2007 MacBook with 4 GB of RAM. I am looking for a Blu-ray drive (internal or external) that will run well with my computer, and hopefully be fairly inexpensive. Do you have any suggestions? I will probably not use it to burn any Blu-ray discs, just for reading them.

    Thanks

Far as I'm aware, there isn't a way to play Bluerays on Mac yet. You could rip them though. I'm using one on my iMac. It's an LG drive on Amazon HERE. I just stuck it in a generic USB optical enclosure.

It's as big as a tank. But it's rugged. If you're just using it on your desk that won't matter much though.

    What about this Software?

It says it can playback Blu-Ray 3D.

I was just thinking about buying an internal Blu-Ray drive to test it with my 3D Setup (120hz 3D ready projector and DLP-Link Shutter Glasses) which already works great with Bino to play 3D Movies on the Mac.
