    Hi,

I am now using a 2.33 intel core 2 duo, 2gb 667 DDR2 SDRAM mbp 17" and it has been giving me so much problem that I can't take it anymore (crashes, lag, 100% CPU). Just yesterday I actually said to myself "windows is better than this crap".

But I know that was a moment of frustration so I apologize apple you are still the king.

Anyway, I'm thinking of buying a new MBP 17" but I've got a strong feeling that next year they will have a blu-ray drive included... Who here honestly thinks that next year we will have it in all MBP?

There are thousands of threads about this...

Blu-Ray drives exist so it's just up to Apple if/when they will use them. Nobody knows for sure but Mac Pro will likely get them first

I don't forsee MBP's ever getting them. BR may have won the battle VS HD-DVD, but it's far from a standard Apple wants to get behind. Even myself as an early adopter of both formats, don't really use either anymore with the digital/streaming content available.

Many thin profile extrrnal BR drives exist. That could be your stop gap.

In other words, don't hold your breath and enjoy your Mac today.
