Blu-ray Playback Issues

Hi All

Hope you can help me please. I purchased a 27" i5 2010 iMac a week ago and I installed Windows 7 64bit under Bootcamp. I have an external blu-ray drive to be able to play blu-ray discs. I am using Power DVD Ultra 10 and blu-ray playback is choppy 🙁 I don't understand how this could be.

Can anybody please help?
