Blu-ray through windows 7?

Hey, is it possible to install a portable blu-ray drive in a macbook pro, and then even though mac os x won't recognize it, could i use it through windows 7?

p.s. i want to watch blu-ray movies (e.g. Star Trek) I don't really care about burning discs or trying to transfer data.
