Blu Ray

Is there anyway to copy a blu-ray dvd to an Air so I can download it to my ipad?

You need a Blu Ray drive for this, as Blu Rays are not DVDs.

I have a bluray drive which I use a program called MakeMKV which stream copies to a large file(about 30-40GB) that needs to be down-sized. The next step is use Handbrake and I heavily compress it down to 2.5GB.
