Hoping someone can help me. I have an emerson television, and a Mac OS X, version 10.6.8 I hooked up the TV, to my mac so that I could watch movies. The display on the television has a blue tint to it, so bad that it is not watchable. I have spoken with Emerson on the phone, originally I had thought it had something to do with the TV. After trying all sort of things they told me to try, they came to the conclusion that it was the Mac. Can someone please advise me on what to do!? I would appreciate it tremendously.

How are you connecting the Mac to the TV? have you checked the cable?

Try calibrating the display via System Preferences. I had to do that when connecting my Mini to the TV.
