BlueMarine is kind of like Lightroom or Aperture except it is free and Open Source and runs on all platforms, Mac, Windows, Linux and so on. It is not quite finished yet but a new 0.9 version is available at the URL below. It is worth looking at and following it's further development. Already it can handle some RAW formats Aperture can't.
Really? I wasn't aware of that. Generally speaking, if people would like to see support for their own camera, they should only post samples to the issue tracker.
At the moment blueMarine can open a lot of RAW formats, but there's no QA about the results.
