Given screenshots of Bluesky and X side-by-side, can anyone tell which is which? Can anyone even tell they aren't the same app?

I don't think this is an issue with all social media apps looking the same... I can tell them apart from Facebook or Instagram or Snapchat or TikTok or Discord or Reddit. Bluesky looks like such a complete rip-off of X that it looks like they're pleading to be sued - they want the publicity that would come with it.
X has view counts and Bluesky has URLs for usernames. X also has a ton of other things in each post now compared to when it was Twitter like Grok... Despite someone wanting to "simplify" the layout back when he took over. That's all not to mention that X doesn't let you see just about anything anymore without logging in.

What amount of control
Blocking actually blocks users that you don't want to see (preventing people from seeing your posts altogether and not allowing them to reply or anything). You can untag yourself from a quote post so you don't get dunked on. Feeds let you customize what you see at any given time and how it's displayed to you. For example, I have a feed that shows me recent posts about Pokemon. But I don't have to have that shoved into my "main" following feed if I don't want to follow those people.

Good to know about this. But I don't use the app. Not sure how many are actively using it. Think it was a bit more popular around the time Twitter/X was sold.
