Bluetooth 4.0 (Low Power)

Can this be added internally to my 2010 Mac Pro? Or do I have to get a USB plug to add it.

There seem to be some PCI-E bluetooth 4.0 cards that come up on google. Not sure about Mac support at a quick glance though.

I don't know, but I stepped in to say that USB would probably be preferred anyway because Mac Pro internal bluetooth is notorious for having poor reception.

The PCI-e cards tend to have a connector for external antenna.
