Okay so this issue is weird to me. I have an old Bluetooth speaker, and when it's paired, it shows the battery life not only on the Bluetooth icon next to the iPhone battery, but also appears in the Batteries widget.

However, it's totally hit or miss with everything else. I have a Samsung Level U headset and not only does it not show battery status in the Bluetooth icon, but it doesn't show up in the Batteries widget. I've noticed a lot of my friends and family have similar issues with some BT accessories.

Any idea how to make the battery status visible? I'm at a total loss.

    Thanks in advance.

I suspect there is something the vendor has to do on their device side. For example, my pebble watch does not show its battery status anywhere, but my Bluetooth headphones do, and this is a fairly cheap, no-name brand, purchased well before iOS 9.

You're probably right. I'm not sure why if my cheap BT speaker will send its battery status, why the headset wouldn't for me. Stupid Samsung... Lol
