My wife recently updated her iPhone 4s to iOS5.1. Her Subaru Forester has a bluetooth connection that works fine with the iPhone...however, when she gets home and turns off the vehicle, the phone seems to think that it's still connected as no sound is heard from the phone. (rings, games, etc...)

To get the sounds back, I play an mp3 (and can hear nothing) and use the drop down in the lower left to switch from "CAR MEDIA" to "iPhone"....then the sounds are heard.

But the next time she drives somewhere, the same thing happens. Is there a setting that we are missing...either on the phone or in the vehicle?

Thanks!

Strange

I just paired my iPhone 4s w/iOS 5.1 to her car and drove around. Stopped car and did not have the same issues, as I could hear game sounds, mp3s, etc...without having to toggle to 'iPhone'.
