I've been trying to connect my rMBP to my cars stereo via bluetooth.
First issue; The macbook syncs up and says it is connected, but the car stereo says "searching" indefinitely. If I cancel the search it seems to stay connected, but that brings me to the second issue; Audio will ONLY play through itunes. I'm trying to watch a video in my car from VLC. When itunes is playing I get both my music from itunes as well as the audio from VLC, however as soon as I pause or quit itunes I lose both audio tracks.
My solution up to this point is to simply leave itunes playing and turn its volume all the way down. I would like to find a proper solution though.
