I normally don't keep bluetooth on but a few weeks ago the Fitbit prompted me to turn it on so I obliged. Ever since then, I noticed my battery was draining much faster where I would have around 15-20% battery at the end of the day vs. 30% vs. 40%. I am surprised at this as its supposedly low energy and feel that its not supposed to drain that much battery. I am coming from a few android phones where bluetooth battery usage was negligible.

Has anyone had a similar usage?

NOT normal for sure. My BT and WiFi are on all day, everyday and the hit on the battery is so very small. I use a FitBit Charge HR. If you wish, turn off BT and turn it on every once in a while to sync your Fitbit then turn it off again.

Fitbit use Bluetooth low energy so shouldn't drain it.

In your Fitbit all check the trackers settings and make sure "all day sync" is off. That sucker kills batteries.

What does the battery section in settings show? That will show you exactly what's draining it.

I'd definitely recommend, as mentioned above, looking at app settings, and seeing if Fitbit has background data / location items turned on that might be hitting your GPS/DATA heavier, and thus eating through battery.

Gotta be in it to win it
As others have said check the b/t settings. Is bluetooth classic off? All day sync off? I let the fitbit app run in the background and there is no noticeable battery drain. Also did you update your fitbit to the latest firmware?
