I used the phone transfer method from my old iPhone 11 to the 13 but none of my Bluetooth devices transferred, is this normal? Not a huge deal but I have a few BT devices that are just a pain to sync up like the Polk audio stereo in my boat.

You will always need to re-pair bluetooth devices when you switch phones because the Bluetooth pairing uses unique hardware ID’s. Even if the backup could restore the Bluetooth connections to your phone they wouldn’t work because your Bluetooth device would still be paired with your old phone’s hardware ID.

Airpods do something outside the standard Bluetooth protocol to allow you to connect them on one device and use them on all your devices.
