Bluetooth dongle, headset and Dragon 3.0

Dragon Dictate does not seem to like the inbuilt bluetooth of the MBP (2011 mode at least). I have a bluetooth headset and a bluetooth dongle (broadcom driver) that I would like to set up for use with dragon. Does anyone please know how to do this?

Did the bluetooth dongle come with software? I'd like to hear how you did with this.
