Bluetooth Hardware not Found

All traces of Bluetooth suddenly disappeared from my MacBook. The menu bar item is gone, the preference pane is gone, it isn't in system profiler, and when I click to add a Bluetooth device I get a pop up saying "Bluetooth Hardware Not Found". I've restarted the computer a couple times. Any ideas?
