So, here I was doodling away on a break from studying and decided to listen to music using my Beats Bluetooth headphones and then I realized.. Pressure sensitivity isn't working very well at all. I reset the iPad Pro, put music back on and tried to draw again.. Nothing. I switched the app to Apple's Notes app, still issues with sensitivity. I switched the tip on the pencil thinking maybe I busted it or something, same issue.

I unpaired and repaired the pencil, same story. Turns out, by disconnecting my headphones or shutting them off, pressure sensitivity was back to normal.

TLDR; Bluetooth headphones fudges Apple Pencil pressure sensitivity. Fix or angry.

No fix possible. BT headphones utilize nearly the whole bandwidth a BT connection has. There is simply not enough bandwidth left for the Pencil.

I use my Beats Wireless and the Pencil, haven't had any issues, sensitivity seems same to me.

Edit: what iOS are you using, I'm still using 9.2

That's strange. Bandwidth problems are the only reason I could think of here. I'll check with my BT Sonys when my Pencil finally arrives...

I'm on 9.2.1, I'm not sure what is going on then. I might have to take it into Apple if it is just me.

Only weird thing I notice is a little typing lag when using both pencil and headphones, sometimes but not all the time!

I'm not having this problem at all. Just tried with my Beats Studio Wireless and iPP with Pencil while listening to Spotify (which can be demanding on its own) and had absolutely zero problems.

I tried both Notability and Apple Notes and both were perfect... pressure sensitivity and tilt sensitivity and lag were all completely unnaffected by the headphones/music.

I even live in a large apartment complex where there are probably thousands of nearby bluetooth devices that are throwing off intereference (just in my own house I probably have 10 or so active at this moment!).

I'll throw in my hat for not having this issue either. I have the 128 GB WiFI iPad Pro, Apple Pencil, and Beats Studio wireless headphones - no interruption when using both the pencil and the headphones. In fact, I would also have an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard connected as well (but only when I'm at my desk - even then I'm usually using the Pencil to write notes or diagram in OneNote, but I do often have the headphones connected while I draw [usually Paper or Sketchbook for drawing, and either Apple Music or Podcasts for audio]).
