I just bought the Jabra Elite 65t and am experiencing severe audio dropouts and disconnects when the phone is just in my pocket... Any experiencing anything like this? Both the phone and earphones are running latest firmware/software versions and at fully battery.

I’ve also just bought the Jabra Elite 65T and am currently using them with my iPhone 8 (which has Bluetooth 5 like the Jabras) with no problems at all. However the phone is usually sitting still on a table while I’m moving around, maybe that makes a difference, or possibly your phone using an older version BT.

I have the same problem with my Phaiser bluetooth earbuds and iPhone 6. They seemed to work at first but connection strength seemed to quickly go downhill. I suspect it's my almost 4-yr old phone and either old BT or failing components, we'll see when I upgrade in Sept.

I have the same (65t Elite Sport), and once in a while I do get a momentary crackle here and there, also when it's in my pocket. It seems to happen mostly when I'm moving in a way that could be putting more of my leg in contact with the phone. I have also, however, been able to leave my phone at least a few meters/yards away and not have any issues, so it seems to be related to the water in my body absorbing some of the signal. You might try to use a different case or move the phone to another pocket that is not as close to your body.

Otherwise these headphones are really wonderful.
