So I just got AirPods, ran into the same issues described above with Logitech's bluetooth Mouse/Keyboard combo and I just tried to connect it via the USB nano adapter (via USB 3.0 HUB of course) and it works now with AirPods connect and working but something odd to take note of for the initial logitech "pairing" to properly pair via the logitech unifying software, My airpods couldn't be connected. The software wouldn't recognize my mouse or keyboard until I had my air pods int he case with the lid closed and almost instantly, the software 'saw' the mouse and keyboard.

Once paired I pulled my airpods back out out, put them in my ear to connect them, everything has worked fine without latency or anything.

A little bit of a bummer but for me personally, when I travel I use a magic mouse and I only use the logitech combo at my desk where I am mainly, so having to use the nano receiver isn't terrible but still not ideal.

Now we just need Logitech to come out with a USB-C receiver...

I have a similar problem with my Apple Magic Trackpad.

It only happens when I plugin my mbp and wake it up from sleep. The cursor is either super slow or will jump around when I try to use the trackpad. The solution is to shutdown the trackpad and re-connect it.

This only happens on my 2017 13inch, everything works fine when I use my 2013 13inch side by side when connected to the same trackpad.

Anyone tried High Sierra beta to see if this fixes BT problems with Logitech mice? My Anywhere 2S is not usable due to intermittent connection loss.

I was having the same issue as everyone else - Logitech Keyboard and mouse worked fine until I tried connecting and using my Airpods. Things seemed to work okay at first but as I was listening via my Airpods more, the connection to the keyboard or mouse would keep dropping.

I just upgraded to High Sierra Beta on my MBP15 with Touchbar and it seems to have resolved the issue. It's been about an hour plus of using all three (keyboard, mouse, airpods) and no connection dropping or interference.

I can concur updating to High Sierra seems to have solved my issue as well.

I resorted to using my Anywhere mouse via Unifying receiver the last month, but changed back to BT this morning. Seems to be working fine so far. Mouse and BT speaker (Bose SoundLink Mini 2) have been connected simultaneously (also playing music).

FYI: I'm using Logitech Software (which has improved immensely since I last used it).

[edit]
after changing the connection mode to BT, I'm appalled by how bad the tracking over BT is, compared to over the Unifying receiver. I'm not sure if it's caused by increased lag over BT, or if the cursor acceleration changes when switching to BT.

It seems to me that since High Sierra the problem got worse. I have a MX Master and a Logitech Z337 sound system both connected via BT.
When I move the mouse the sound on the Z337 starts to crackle. Never noticed that on Sierra. No problems appear when using a MagicMouse instead of the MX Master. Using a MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012)

Ive been struggling with this issue ever since ive "upgraded" to the touchbar 15" from an old-school 17" fully loaded ( bluetooth 4.0 card included ) macbook pro .

After reading a **** ton about bluetooth, the only thing i could find is this :
- Every single apple device ( mouse / keyboard / airpods / etc ) uses a different bluetooth module than everyone else : A MASTER BLUETOOTH MODULE .

"Bluetooth networks (commonly referred to as piconets) use a master/slave model to control when and where devices can send data. In this model, a single master device can be connected to up to seven different slave devices. Any slave device in the piconet can only be connected to a single master. " - https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/bluetooth-basics/how-bluetooth-works

What that means for the regular device is basically this : Every single time a master device needs to use the bandwidth , it pretty much screws any slave device and cuts in line.
To make things worse , bluetooth audio is extremely bandwidth hungry ( AAC is implemented in Apple products and there are a growing number of headphones that support this codec. It runs at 250kbps )

But wait ...theres more "great" news for the touchbar macbook : they switched the wireless module that was used in all previous versions ( the Broadcom one ) with : Murata/Apple 339S00056 Wi-Fi Module. Yes i know it shows up as Broadcom in the system report , but its NOT THE SAME CHIP. Comparing the 2011 mbp 17" bluetooth 4.0 chip with this new one gives the stark conclusion: its worse , way worse . On the 17" i could easily use a bluetooth speaker ( in master mode ) and my surface mouse ( in slave mode ) and the mouse would never disconnect / lag. Having the same setup on the touchbar made the mouse un-usable as it would stop - disconnect - reconnect after 2-3 sec.

And the cherry on top of this whole f**** thing is this ( taken directly from apple support website ) https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203729

Bluetooth: Unreliable wireless performance may occur when USB 3.0 external devices are close

Yes, you read that correctly - USB 3 devices **** up bluetooth! ...on a laptop that ONLY HAS USB 3.0.

In conclusion , if you ever wonderd why the macbook pro has a headphone jack ? ...now you know : bluetooth audio on a $2000+ machine is "unreliable" due to "courage in removing ports "

PS : if you can find a bluetooth mouse that is "MASTER" ( not the magic mouse ) that looks and works decent , please let me know . So far both Designer and Surface mouse use the slave chip .

In my case, I have a MBP 15" mid 2014, and this bluetooth and other devices:
  • Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 5000
  • Logitech MX Anywhere 2 (I have the Anywhere 1 as well, but it is just wi-fi)
  • Apple AirPods
  • Western Digital Passport USB 3.0
The keyboard works perfectly, really had never any kind of problem! My Logitech MX Anywhere 2 gets laggy sometimes, especially if I'm using a USB 3.0 (which causes interference) hard disk, reason why the majority of the time it is t disconnected. At the moment I was reading this post and listening to music, my AirPods stopped working, but stayed connected to MBP and then reconnected with bad sound issues (it happens every time it connects) and then automatically changed something and the sound became good. Very annoying.

A solution that came to my mind is to solve the mouse problem is, as the Logitech MX Anywhere 2 has both bluetooth and wi-fi connections, is keeping the Logitech USB Wi-Fi connector plugged in, and configure one of the channels of the mouse to bluetooth, and another channel to wi-fi. This way, if my mouse becomes laggy, I just change its channel. Not the best solution, but at least diminishes it.

I've found that my Logitech MX Master mouse doesn't really work via bluetooth when I have my AirPods connected to my MacBook (13" MBP TB, 2.9 ghz, 16 gb, 1 tb). It's very frustrating. I've tried changing the bluetooth channel on the mouse (there are 3) to no avail. Anything else I can do?

I'd like to avoid using the Logitech USB receiver since that now also requires a dongle on the new MBP!

I too experienced this problem with the Logitech MX Anywhere 2 connected with bluetooth at the same time as Apple AirPods

I was directed to reset the NVRAM which initially fixed the issue for me for about the time it took me to register for MacRumours and write this message.

:(

I swear when i got my logitech MX anywhere S2 it was working fine with my Macbook, lately there has been this lag/stutter with the mouse connected BT.....Dont have AirPod.

Newbie here, I had the same issue, found a fix it may work for you, open up mac, BT all connect as normal, if I switch off the BT keyboard, all works as it should and then re-connect keyboard, no glitchs ;)

This all started with High Sierra and then even worse with Mojave, I tried all the posted fixes nothing worked, must be something with BT priority
