This should be fixed in beta 3.everytime my iPhone iOS 11.2 beta connects to Bluetooth audio in my car the music starts to play automatically. It only happens when it connects to Bluetooth. How can I stop automatically playing music?
I am on latest beta issue not fixed, its annoying that bluetooth connects and music is streaming which is using my data without me knowing. This should be fixed in beta 3.
Shoot. Many users over here https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/ios-11-2-beta-3-bug-fixes-changes-and-improvements.2088122/I am on latest beta issue not fixed, its annoying that bluetooth connects and music is streaming which is using my data without me knowing.
You say “phone continues playing music or podcast.” The bug is that even if you weren’t playing anything through your phone, simply connecting to a Bluetooth device causing your music to start playing. For me this takes a slightly different form:
I get into my car. Bluetooth connects, phone continues playing music or podcast, without intervention. As far as I am concerned, this is a feature; it has always done that.
However, within 10 seconds or so, the phone will pause itself and then resume playing again.
If - when playback starts automatically (which I expect) - I immediately pause playback using my head unit screen, within 10 seconds or so, the phone will in-pause itself and start playing again > not expected. It does this only once. Until next time that pairing reconnects again.

What if you don't want to listen tomorrow? There should be on/off feature for this functionTo be clear, this is what I mean:
If today I play a podcast or music and then tomorrow, when I go to work, I get into the car and phone connect to BT, I expect it to just start playing right away, where it stopped, without any intervention at all. This is a feature, no?
