Bluetooth Not Working

When I put my 2011 iMac to sleep my bluetooth keyboard and trackpad disconnect.

This never happened before. How do I fix this?
 
Open Bluetooth preferences>advanced, see if the "Allow Bluetooth devices to wake this computer" box is checked.
