Im looking to buy one fast, I see a lot of Bluetooth ones, is there a big benefit to a WiFi receiver.

Im looking to transmit audio from either iOS or MacOS (MacBook Pro Late 2013) so would want audio from Spotify, iTunes and web based YouTube or any files to work. Not sure if this makes any difference.

Thanks!

Edit: I should say this is to plug into an already existing separates amp.

Isn't music over bluetooth slightly inferior (quality-wise), than it is over wifi...?

Yes I believe so. I store my music all in lossless so something with WiFi/AirPlay would be good.

Currently Apple Music will only play through Bluetooth, but that is supposed to change with AirPlay 2. Also, WiFi is better sound quality.

Most receivers I’ve seen have both. My advice is to but one that has both, your be covered.
