hey guys , i got a microsoft mouse , usb, an was wondering if theres a way to plug some kinda of bluetooth receiver into the mouse so i dont have to plug it in the mac all the time

i know i can get bluetooth mice but would like to keep this one.

also any suggestion on where to get a good deal on the apple keyboard

or keyboard + mighty mouse package?

thanks

There are bluetooth adapters that plug into USB ports on computers that don't have bluetooth, but nothing that plugs into a non-bluetooth mouse to make it work with bluetooth. Your mouse doesn't have a port to plug anything into it.

I'm guessing he means plugging his USB mouse reciever into a USB-->Bluetooth adapter. This would free up a USB port on the computer. Other than that, I don't see a huge benefit.

Since the MacBook Pro has bluetooth built in, there would be no benefit to having a USB > bluetooth adapter. He would still be using a USB port. He wants to avoid having to plug anything into a USB port, but what he's asking can't be done, since the mouse can't accept a bluetooth receiver.
