I'm looking to buy a decent Bluetooth speaker for my iPhone and laptop. I listen to rap and do watch music occasionally using portable projector therefore the sound quality would have to be decent.

Hmmm, some more specific model info for your laptop, iPhone, and projector would be needed to make an intelligent recommendation. :)

I know this is an old thread (originally posted about 3 weeks ago), but i wanted to contribute my 2 cents:

I enjoy the Bose Soundlink II a lot, but use it mainly on the go (and paired with my phone), because at home I use airPlay to tap into my Yamaha CRX-N560, and boy the little bose soundlink is no match to the Yamaha. So, if what you want is wireless* music at home or the office, I recommend a good set of receiver/speakers AirPlay compatible and avoid BT.

If BT is your only option, then the Soundlink II or III are more than decent, or if you want about 100 USD cheaper, the guys over at the Verge recommend the Logitech's UE Boom 2 for USD199 as the best BT speaker out there.

* Not entirely wireless out of the box, since the receiver connects to the router by an ethernet cable (still, there is no cable going from your phone/laptop/iPad to the receiver nor to the router), or you have to buy a WiFi adapter to get truly wireless music.
