Is anyone else having problems with bluetooth in leopard? I try to add my mobile phone to the mac's devise list and it just keeps searching, and searching, and searching. Never finding the phone. Yes, the phone is in discovery mode. I even tried putting the mac in discovery mode and pairing the two from the phone, but the computer never gets the passkey request (but the phone does see the mac). I just bought the mac yesterday, so maybe it's a problem with the bluetooth hardware? But I doubt it. Let me know if you are having problems with bluetooth also and if you have any solutions to get it to work.

the real solution

Apparently some people have problems sending files from their phones to their Mac under Leopard. There's a new item in the System Preferences under "Sharing" called "Bluetooth Sharing". This must be activated to accept files sent from phones.

A good example of how OS X isn't always as intuitive as we'd like to think.

This post solved my problem. My Kodak V610 camera is now working with my MacBook. Thank you!
