Hi

I have recently bought a D-Link DBT-120 Bluetooth Adapter for my Mac Pro and i am losing connection with my devices on waking the Mac Pro from sleep, both my Logitech Bluetooth Mouse and a Jabra headset. Typically I need to disconnect and reconnect the adapter before they will work again. Does anyone know what i can do to get this working properly. I get the same issues whether i plug the adapter into the front of the Mac Pro or the back of my Cinema Display which is ideally where i would like to connect it.

thanks

nick

For me, using a different 3rd party BT adapter in a Bluetooth-less iMac, the solution was to ensure nothing else was on that particular USB bus - since some of the ports on the back of my iMac seem to be shared with iSight/infrared, that was more than just making sure it was the only device plugged in: perhaps looks at Hardware/USB in System Profiler. Or, perhaps try kextunload'ing BT modules before sleep - consider SleepWatcher.

Also, after initial pairing, it was necessary for me to disable discoverability, as some devices otherwise decide to repeatedly sleep then immediately wake after a period of idleness, preventing sleep. But that might be a device rather than host issue.
