When I wake my 2017 iMac 27" on Ventura 13.2 and now 13.3 Bluetooth is turned off. Not every time I put it to sleep. It might go three nights, then the next one. Sometimes 2 nights. I cannot find a way to turn Bluetooth off with my wired keyboard only. I can open System Settings but can't get from "Bluetooth" on the left to right where the switch to turn it on and off is located. Obviously I can't turn it on via the Menu Bar. Apple Support lists this issue but with no resolution.

This has been happening for 4-8 weeks, so not the whole time 13.2 was the current software.

Anyone successfully dealt with this?

I experienced this for the first time today. I've never had any problem with Ventura before this.

Tried to use my my 2017 iMac 27" this morning and it wouldn't wake up. Then I realized the keyboard and mouse weren't connected.

I used screen sharing from my macbook to connect and in the iMac settings I saw the bluetooth was turned off. Tried to turn it back on but the slider just kept bouncing back.

Restarted the iMac and then I was able to turn on the bluetooth remotely using the macbook. Would have been a real mess to fix if I hadn't had screen sharing from my laptop!

I sent feedback to apple...but as mentioned above it seems to be a known issue.

I now turn my mouse and trackpad off before putting the computer asleep. Luckily I use the USB Apple keyboard and can wake the computer up with it. I turn the mouse and trackpad on, no problem connecting. With these procedures I never have the Bluetooth connection issue.

I bought a cheap USB mouse thinking I could wake the computer with it. I can, but that didn’t stop the issue from happening and I had to restart every time.

So far I seem to have been lucky-looks like it was a one-time thing. In the past few days everything bluetooth related has worked fine on waking. Strange that it happened that one time...

iMac 27" and Ventura 13.6.1, and this started happening to me recently. It's VERY annoying.

Bluetooth control says bluetooth is OFF. Mouse may work - or not. This morning the curser was moving on the screen but scrolling with mouse was NOT working. Bluetooth control panel says bluetooth is off. Weird stuff. I have a Wacom HD24 attached to my iMac via OWC dock and Wacom input is fine (I use this to activate bluetooth). This is definitely a BUG and it's a NEW BUG for me. Please fix this APPLE.
