When I am in my home with Bluetooth on, should the device be discoverable and the refresh circle moving? I thought the phone only does this when you are trying to pair it with your car?

Ok thanks. Doesn't that eat battery life if it is constantly searching at all times?

IDK but I only turn BT on when I actually need it just in case it's a drain. :)

I find that my battery drains quite noticeably when I leave Bluetooth on all the time, so I do the same thing you do. I am not sure whether this is just me being extra aware of the battery status with Bluetooth on, or real.

the discoverable/refresh circle only move when you are viewing the bluetooth settings page. when you leave that page, discoverability turns off.

Thanks for the information! That's very helpful. My perceived battery drain is probably just me constantly checking to see if it's draining the battery!:)
