When scrolling on my iPhone 12, text is particularly blurred And it disturbs me a bit.

Does it look like this is one of the annoying downsides of any OLED display, or is it just that the one of my iPhone 12 is particularly bad?

I shot a video showing both the new iPhone 12 (on the left) and an iPhone XR (right).
As you can see both have a blur, it’s normal. But at least in real person, the iPhone XR is a lot more tolerable. Let’s just say I never even thought of this possible issue, as I never experienced it With XR any other previous phones (Always LCD).

The text on the iPhone 12 seems to be moving a bit more / appears blurred for a longer period of time.
1) do you see it too on this video?
2) do you think it’s just a normal issue with any OLED vs LCD?

iPhone 12. iPhone XR

Not sure if these pictures below are helpful at all. Perhaps from the high number of pics i took it seems on the iPhone 12 the different lines of same text are almost of the same intensity/shade, while on the XR there is a main line of text, and a copy of it which is a bit lighter. Maybe that’s why it’s easier on my eyes?

It looks normal to me. I strongly doubt that your phone is unique among the millions of phones Apple produces.

Thanks,
Despite recognising the low probability of this being an issue just with mine (or a few), I almost wished it was an issue, as the opposite would imply i am one of those who is bothered by OLED. Saw several posts of people who are staying clear of iPhones with OLED, as it gives them headaches. Maybe I am one of them.

I am just surprised they are so popular, given this “feature”/issue... trying to adapt my eyes but it’s giving me a bit of a headache
