My wife just got an iPhone 8 and anytime she takes a pic of the baby even with the slightest movement, there's shutter lag and the pic comes out blurry. This doesn't happen on my iPhone 7 or her old iPhone 6S. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

That sounds like a hardware problem with the camera. I would take it into an Apple store if possible. If it is a hardware issue, they will replace the phone since that would be covered under warranty.

[doublepost=1508877249][/doublepost]Mine is doing the exact same thing - did you find out any more on the cause?

Did you turn on Live Photos? If the photos you've taken is Live Photos, then it's likely the thumbnail image is blurry. Just guess.

I also noticed the same thing in the past week with my iPhone 8.
"Live photos" are deactivated and even when the light conditions are near perfect pictures of slightly moving objects/people turn out to be blurry.
I tried to google the problem, but i couldn't find anything...
could you solve it somehow or did you contact apple care/went to an apple store?

p.s. we can't possibly be the only ones with this issue, right? anyways, tomorrow i'll go check some of the floor models at my local the apple store to see if it's a software problem or if our devices are simply faulty.
