...As for dust, this screen is a HUUUUUUGE dust magnet, HOWEVER, it's very smudge resistant...

Are you referring to the surface of the Pure's glass? If so, I don't find that it is noticeably any different from the iPhone's glass in terms of dust attraction.

Hmmm all this talk of dust collecting. So, do I want to be smudge free (very oily person) or do I want to be dust free?

Does the dust remove easily? Like blowing on it?

Well, if your a perfectionist like myself then I would suggest doing it in a steamed room....at first I was hesitant as I thought the steam would damage the phone, but it didn't and it did actually keep the dust away from the phone. So you can try it, sucks that it's so expensive cause throwing away $40 if it doesn't work is hurtful, and hope for the best.

As for the dust, the ones that stay on top of the screen can be easily removed with a gentle blow, but the ones that stay on the side of the screen....some are easily removable but I'm sure in time there will be a few that will get suck there. I was using a cotton shirt (that's what I was wearing at the time) to clean the screen last night and realized a lot of the lint stayed on the side (one was even starting to work it's way under the screen) so I got my dust can and did a few gentle sprays and all the dusts were gone.

I'm not sure if it's more visible on the Pure than on the phones screen. But today when I went to use it I realized there was a lot of lint/dust on the screen itself. But it wasn't annoying as I was able to blow it off with no problem...the sides...well that's a different story, lol.

Yeah the sides are collecting dust and lint from pockets.

I just applied mine yesterday and it collects dusts on the edges. I'm pretty sure that as time goes by, more and more dust will be collected on the edges. I am pretty annoyed by it. It might be because of some excess adhesive that goes out on the edges of the glass. Hopefully, overtime i won't get too irritated and take it off.

I do love how it feels and how smudge resistant it is though. Do they have the same quality on their film protectors?

Didn't really clean the screen off, just did a quick wipe of the screen with my cotton shirt before taking these pics. So there might be some added dust from the shirt on the phone.
The screen is applied perfectly down the center. Even I was impressed because I didn't think I had it aligned this well.

Here's two before applying the protector...and before cleaning the screen

I just got mine yesterday and installation was easy, I'm surprised I got it on so easy. The only thing is today I have a small scratch! I have been very careful with it, so I'm pretty bummed out, but I suppose that's what it's there for, right? I can always replace it when it gets worse.

Is there any sort of glass protector for the camera lens? I'm more worried about that getting scratched.

So I applied mine on the 13th of November, and it's been working great. The coating has started to ware off, making the screen very vulnerable to smudges and finger prints. But now, it looks like there's a bubble building up on the upper left corner of the screen. I started seeing it a little yesterday, 9th of December, and as with in 24hrs it went from a little questionable bubble to a larger definite bubble as shown in the images below. I'm gonna keep an eye on the bubble and see if it gets bigger. will update with more photos as time goes on. For now, here's two I took just now, 24hrs after first seeing the bubble.

Had the same issue pop up yesterday after a month + of a flawless install. I used a microfiber cloth and a screw driver behind it (yup, I'm crazy, sue me) and put pressure on the Pure where the bubble occured, with the applied pressure the adhesive stuck back on perfectly and now looks like that bubble / un-sticking adhesion never happened :)

Would the BG Pure not work with a Poetic Atmosphere?
It would work, wouldn't see why not, it would be a tight fit (like my Glas.T was with the Incipio Frequency) but as long as you align the Pure properly you'll be fine :)

Just installed my Bodyguardz Pure. I like everything about it except for the oleophobic coating. The coating seems to be transferring to my fingers every time I touch/swipe the screen. I am not liking the residue left on my fingertips from the oleophobic coating at all.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I wonder if there is a way to remove the oleophobic coating without waiting for it to ware off over time?

I installed mine yesterday too, but I don't have residue on my fingertips. Looks like yours might be faulty, take a picture and send it to them or the representative here. They should be able to help.

I got mine yesterday, but waiting for my case before I install.
In the package, there were a set of home buttons stickers included. Anyone use them? And how are they?

They're decent, I'd say they are harder to align and install then the protector :p

It has a rubber type squishy feeling, works well even though it doesn't really add anything.

The Spigen ones fit well with the BG Pure, though, I'm assuming? I wonder with a black bumper on my iPhone, with a clear matte skin on the back, which color of button would look good. Oh the decisions I plague myself with...

Been using my pure for a few months with the sgp aluminum button, both work awesome together. Ok loving the bodyguardz pure, definitely a must have!!

Sorry to bump this old thread, but I was wondering if anyone knows if Bodyguardz's lifetime warranty covers products purchased on Amazon or if it's like SGP and I need to purchase it from them directly. I want to try out the Pure but I just need to know who to purchase it from. Thanks!

If you're talking about their advantage program, then you need to order from their site and make an account with them to take advantage of the replacements.

Yeah that's what I mean. I just had a pretty crappy experience with a Glast.r that was purchased on Amazon (Mom got it as a Christmas gift and used another seller that wasn't Spigen and it was a fake) so I want to make sure I get the real deal with the warranty. Thanks for the info!

No problem. I can guarantee you that ordering from the site will get you that replacement since I've done it in the past. Just make sure you don't throw away the original, they do want you to send it back.
