Bondi iMac - original UK retail price ?

hi everyone - daft question, so please bear with me

my stepson used one of the above models ('98 vintage) for occasional net access until recently, when we had a roof leak and the thing was covered in rainwater and killed stone dead

our insurers (bless them) have said that for the price of our minimal excess, we can have a "new for old" replacement, but I need to know what the original retail price was so they can decide what we get - from memory, i'm guessing at £599 or thereabouts - anyone got a source for a definitive answer (tried mactracker, but that's all US prices) ?

new iMac would be cool but - yeah - i'm guessing they might just go for the cost of a mini at best - still, that'll be six hundred and fifty quid's worth of upgrades to my G5 dinosaur, so win/win, as they say...
