The refurb mini I ordered last week, 2.0ghz, 1gb ram, 120gb HD, came today and to my surprise it actually has 2gb of ram instead of just 1 as was advertised. Anyone else have a similar surprise?

    Thanks Apple!

It sometimes happens. Congrats at the freebie. Sometimes people get computers with better GHz and stuff on accident. Nice when it happens.

This is actually common in refurbs, but has also been seen in some new machines purchased from Apple (for example, some Mac Minis shipped a while ago with processor upgrades that had not even been announced at the time); Apple even states that it reserves the right to upgrade the specs of any computer purchased from its online store.
